Noah Kahan at The State Room: Biography and History
Noah Kahan is an American singer-songwriter from Strafford, Vermont, whose folk-pop and indie-folk songs pair candid storytelling with themes of home, identity, and mental health. His emotionally direct writing has helped build a devoted audience, with songs often becoming communal singalongs at live shows.
Kahan's breakthrough album, Stick Season (2022), and its expanded edition, Stick Season (We'll All Be Here Forever) (2023), brought his music to a much wider audience. Standout tracks include “Stick Season,” “Northern Attitude,” “Dial Drunk,” and “Call Your Mom.” The supplied event record lists a performance at The State Room in Salt Lake City, Utah, on October 23, 2018. The available information does not establish additional past dates at this venue or provide details about that specific show.
The event record places Kahan's Salt Lake City appearance in his earlier career, before the album releases that later propelled him to international recognition. His later We'll All Be Here Forever Tour supported the expanded Stick Season release, but the supplied information does not identify that tour as the name of the 2018 event.
